The King Khalid University Council approved the issuance of the Saudi Journal of Medical Education, as well as the approval of the editorial board, to serve as a publishing body for all researchers in the field of health professions education. The Saudi Society for Medical Education is in the process of signing an agreement with an international publisher to begin receiving and reviewing articles in the field.
